Americans' Travel to Iran Has Not Been Stopped
Americans' travel to Iran has not been stopped and the policy of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs on issuing visas to American nationals has remained unchanged. The number of American visitors traveling to Iran in the current year has not decreased.
Regarding the claims of the U.S. Department of State about Iran's visa ban, Ebrahim Pourfaraj explained that despite the threats and anti-BARJAM measures of the U.S. government, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not reacted to Americans' travel to Iran and kept the same policy. He added: until now no tourist visa rejection has been reported by travel agencies. All applications have been accepted by Iran Ministry of Affairs after consideration of the required documents.
The head of Iran Tour Operators Association also said that Americans can travel to Iran without difficulty. Visitors numbers have not decreased compared with last year.
