WTTC's Report on Economic Impacts of Tourism
According to the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), tourism industry played a prominent role in economy in 2018 reported as the following:
- direct contribution to the Gross National Product: $3890 billion
- direct and indirect contribution to job creation & employment: 332666000 jobs
- direct support for employment: more than 150 million job opportunities
- contribution to investment size: more than $9200 billion
